There are many ways to cut into a discussion about efficiency. We will start with two stories that have caught our attention recently.

Story one: Salesforce is seeking a patent to create efficiency in the area of reading. The patent allows users (i.e., readers) to apply filters to digital texts. The first filter allows them to select a reading time. The program then highlights key portions of the document to help readers digest texts within a desired timeframe. The second filter allows readers to ask questions of the text β€” questions that an AI system generates for them β€” and then skip to the sections of the text that provide the answers. Salesforce wants readers to go faster by going faster.
